I once went to Seaham in County Durham to look for sea glass. Seaham is where you can find beautiful multi-coloured sea glass, a product of the Victorian Londonderry Bottleworks glass factory that used to dispose of all its glass waste in the sea. I found a few pieces but it wasn't the holy grail of glass I'd been hoping for. I think beautiful sea glass is harder to find now, it's becoming precious. We must treasure it!
